Strategic Planning SurveyBrothers,
In 2011, a strategic plan was presented to promote the healthy growth and development of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of the State of New York. This five-year strategic plan was based on a realistic vision of a healthy and prosperous lodge, a member centered mission, and the attainment of measurable goals and objectives in the areas of Brotherhood (The Table), Work (The Quarry), Charity (The Love), Visibility (The Brand), and Resource Development (The Treasure). These five elements were deemed essential to the ongoing success and growth of this institution. The 2023 Strategic Planning initiative will build on this past effort and include revisions and updates to reflect current realities. To determine the degree of change in member experience and perception of the craft, we will begin with a survey that allows us to compare the perspectives of the craft in 2023 with those of the craft in 2011. This survey is designed to gather simple information about your perspectives as a member of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of New York. The survey is anonymous to ensure that all Brothers are comfortable in providing true answers. This is a subjective survey and there are no right or wrong answers. In the near future, the strategic planning committee will conduct focus group sessions and key informant interviews in every district to gather in-depth information on the perspectives and opinions of Brothers and stakeholders.
